About Darci

I earned my masters of social work from BYU and have 7+ years of experience supporting children with behavioral, emotional, trauma-related, and developmental needs in schools, homes, hospitals, private practices all of which has give me skills in forming strong working relationships with children/families and deepened my ability to understand, connect, and communicate with children. I babysat sporadically throughout my education-I'm hoping to do it more, taking a break from clinical child therapy. I believe parents are the experts of their children. I believe in following their lead, honor their values, and meeting kids/their interests where they are. I love letting kids show me their world and bringing creativity into our time together. I'm great with pets, am a natural self-starter, will happily clean/cook and make a home look better than how I found it and collaborate with parents on all expectations. I love spending time outdoors and being active where possible.
