About Karissa

Hi! My name is Karissa. I am an energetic, and empathetic CNA, tutor, and baby sitter! I started working with kids when I was in middle school. I started out by babysitting for friends and family. Eventually, I became a small group leader in the children's ministry at my church and worked with the 4K grade level. I earned my CNA license my senior year, and I've been a caregiver since! I am not only a CNA, but I am also CBRF certified and medication pass certified. I worked in a skilled nursing home with the senior community, and a CBRF where I worked with more disability-based residents, and passed medication. Fun facts about me: I play the violin, cello, and ukulele; I sing; I am wheat/sugar/starch free (due to this I've become rather accustomed to making home made meals); I'm an avid reader/writer; I love any animal; and I also speak French!
