About Amber

I tutored elementary students for a few years in their school while living in La Crosse. I've also helped tutor different family members throughout the years; including siblings, nieces, and nephews. Now I help my son with all of his schooling. I homeschooled my son for Kindergarten and 1st grade. Then we joined the public online school, Wisconsin Virtual Academy, for his 2nd grade and currently his 3rd grade schooling. I'm his Learning Coach for school and help him work through all of his lessons and school work, adapting any material as needed for better comprehension. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. I feel regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part. I'm eager to create a supportive environment where I can help your child succeed.
