Hello! I am a glass half full kind of person. I appreciate being with people of all ages and backgrounds. I'd describe my personality as joyful, calm and creative. I like caring for seniors because they often hold wisdom and experience. At one point or another we all need some help. I'm looking for a job that can be flexible. I started caring for seniors when I was asked to care for an elderly woman for a (primarily child care )agency I was working for. I stayed with Fanny from 8 a.m. until dinner hour. I cooked, did laundry and kept her company. I stayed with the family until Fanny passed from Emphysema. In my spare time, I like to find vintage items in thrift shops, make jewelry, practice yoga and meditation and go walking. One thing you should know about me is I am kind, patient and have a good sense of humor. My skills include cooking, light housekeeping , running errands, attending appointments as needed, caring for pets, general companionship.
