About Karina

Hi! My name is Karina, and I have over 10 years of childcare experience with children ranging from toddlers to pre-teens. I recently completed my associate degree in Communications and will soon begin my university studies in Education - a field I'm deeply passionate about. My childcare journey started in Brazil, where I volunteered with children in underserved communities and later created my own English-teaching project for local kids. I also worked as an Au Pair for 2 years in the U. S., and I've continued to build experience with families here in Seattle ever since. I've taken a child development course, and I love supporting kids' emotional growth, creativity, and curiosity. I have experience caring for multiple children at once, and I enjoy bringing play, crafts, music, and storytelling into the day. I'd describe myself as responsible, organized, and nurturing.
