About Karina

I'd describe my personality as creative, reliable, and encouraging. I like working with kids because their boundless energy, curiosity, and unfiltered authenticity is so much fun! I started working with kids when I was 12 and have since worked frequently as a babysitter, and a nanny for a little while. I ran a kid's camp at a nature center as a college student. In my spare time, I like to spend as much time as possible in the outdoors, climbing, hiking, and biking. I'm an artist with about a million interests and hobbies, and I love to read. Most recently I worked in project management, and I think the experience coordinating schedules, multi-tasking, and following through on milestone tasks can only be helpful in caring for littles! But probably more important, I'm great at imaginary play. And I'm a patient, encouraging cheerleader for the kids I tend.
