Hi Families! I'm "Kari Poppinz" a Newborn Care Specialist & Pediatric Sleep Consultant with 24 years of career nanny experience. I provide calm, knowledgeable overnight support that helps babies build healthy sleep foundations while parents get the rest they deserve. Currently seeking a family to start 2/23/26 for two overnight shifts per week, 10-hour shifts ( 8 p.m. - 6 a.m. ) at $40/hour. I'm looking forward to connecting with you!

Kari is a loving, reliable, communicative, knowledgeable, all around wonderful nanny! She is incredible with our baby and we can tell she really cares about her. She is so helpful with navigating challenges with sleeping, eating, etc. We trust her very much to take care of our baby. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for childcare services. 

Kari worked with us for approximately 2.5 months.  She got along wonderfully with our baby (4 months at the start), and it was clear they had a great bond!  He would light up every morning when she arrived. We were very happy with her attentiveness and focus on development, as she worked with him to ensure he was hitting his milestones (reaching, sitting up, etc.).  We would recommend her to other prospective families, especially those with very young babies. 

Kari worked for me and another family in a nanny share for nearly 7 months and was the ABSOLUTE BEST. She should be running a preschool or training preschool teachers, in my view, because she is so well read and experienced with young kids. She is also extremely careful, safe, fun, literacy-oriented, active, and a good communicator. 5 stars!

Kari is a wonderful addition to any family. She was a part of our nanny share until the kiddos got accepted into daycare/school. She worked with us from when they were 15 months-almost 2 years old. We trusted her to take our kids in the car and she went on daily outings to the museum, zoo, and/or playground. She's a great communicator and I couldn't recommend her enough. She's still included in our lives and the kids love our "KK"!

Kari Poppins is wonderful! I accepted a promotion in my career and as I transitioned into the new role, I could feel life outside of my job quickly getting away from me. Kari was very receptive to our needs no matter the task whether it was running an errand, helping with organizing in our home, helping with meals, arranging our travel plans,  keeping things in order with our other house staff etc. Kari is a very self motivated person that genuinely cares for her clients. I found it extremely helpful that she would show up each day already knowing the things that needed to be taken care of on a daily basis.

If you essentially need a "personal life assistant", I can assure you, Kari's your girl! 

She's even helped us tremendously transition into soon to be parents by helping us prepare our home, the nursery and even our personal lives as she's had so many years of experience as a nanny. 

I'm confident that the next family or client that Kari works with with be very pleased with her presence and services. 


Kari was our nanny when our daughter was 2 years old and provided constant stimulation for her.  As I look back at pictures, they were always doing artwork, walking, exploring and playing.  She plans out each day to keep your little one always moving and learning!

Kari was our Nanny/Household Manager from September 2007 to June 2008 and it is with great honor to recommend Kari to any family, as I strongly feel she can fill any family's needs, no matter the job, situation or circumstance. In addition to keeping my home running smoothly in every regard, Kari provided exceptional care for our newborn baby on a consistent daily basis. Besides providing the essential care for my child, she also provided me with the security of knowing she was dependable, punctual, reliable and trustworthy while being in our home. Being new parents, there were times of confusion and I feel Kari did everything she could to help us feel at ease and help guide us through any questions, concerns, or transitions. Over the past 10 years, Kari has helped me tremendously as a single mother raising 3 kiddos on my own. Not so much with the actual care of the children but with keeping my life in good functioning order as a whole. I initially met Kari at the church we were attending and after I learned what she does for work, I soon realized I could really use her services in my own life. Kari has mostly helped me with part time work and odds and ends jobs in addition to or outside of her normal full-time positions with her other families. Kari watched my kiddos when they were younger and was a thoughtful and nurturing care giver. I felt comfortable leaving my kids in her hands knowing she would take great care of them. The only reason I don't use her services now is we live further apart.
