About Kari

Hello! My name is Kari, and I'm an Early Childhood Education major at Baldwin Wallace University. I'm 21 years old, I'll be entering my 4th year of college in the fall, and I've been babysitting (and loving it!) since I was in 7th grade and I've cared for children ages 1 month to 13 years. Since I'm studying to become a teacher, I have experience working in classrooms from preschool through sixth grade, and I volunteer in a NICU holding premature babies, so I am very comfortable with kids of all ages! I also have experience with Autism, ADHD, and differently-paced development. I'm a straight-A+ student, and I did very well in many AP classes in high school, so if you're looking for a tutor or someone to help with summer work, I'm more than capable! I'm passionate about kids and strongly believe that safe, reliable, and quality childcare is a must. I love outdoor activities (especially hiking!), reading, doing arts and crafts, and making music (I sing, and I play both guitar and piano).
