About Kari

Hello, My name is Kari! I'm a licensed teacher (grades pre-K-5th) and I love to nanny/babysit. I'm 23 years old, beginning graduate school at Teachers College Columbia in the fall, and I've been babysitting (and loving it!) since I was in 7th grade. I've cared for children aged 1 month to 13 years. I have experience working in classrooms from preschool through sixth grade, and I volunteer in a NICU holding premature babies, so I am very comfortable with kids of all ages! I also have experience with Autism, ADHD, and differently-paced development. I graduated college with a 4. 0 and I'm a licensed educator, so if you're looking for a tutor or someone to help with summer work, I'm more than capable! I'm passionate about kids and strongly believe that safe, reliable, and quality childcare is a must. I love outdoor activities (especially hiking!), reading, doing arts and crafts, and making music (I sing, and I play both guitar and piano).
