I have worked in facilities with Alzheimer's and dementia in the memory care for about 15 yrs. I did my cna but let my license go a couple of yrs ago. I also opened up my own home and did adult foster home for seniors for 10 months but quickly realized working every day wasn't my cup of tea. I needed time with my family. I also have been doing private pay caregiving for 7 yrs roughly. I have worked with hoyer lifts, gait belts, sit to stands, assist with all daily living care. I have also worked with end of care support and hospice.
