About Karen
I've tutored high school kids who were in danger of not graduating, and got them to the finish line! I've also substitute taught all ages, and consider myself very skilled in listening and being an encouraging presence. I was always an "A" student, myself, and have a BA in English, graduating with honors. I've also tutored ESL college level students in their writing skills. I am also a professional photographer, though taking a break from that. Currently, I teach yoga, and am an aspiring writer. I look forward to hearing from you, and helping your student feel confident and successful!

Having known Karen S. for the last 20 years, I often admirably change the spelling of her name to Carin'...a short form of "caring", because that so truly describes her!!!
