About Marisa
Experience: 10 yrs
I have experience tutoring kindergarten - 8th grade students in various subject matter. My teaching experience includes working with underserved populations, underperforming students, and students with learning disabilities. I work closely with parents/guardians, classroom teachers, and support staff to best serve the students I tutor. I consider the whole child when tutoring, integrating hands-on and engaging activities in my instruction. I also emphasize a growth mindset.
