About Karen

I am an elementary special education teacher who enjoys helping students build confidence and discover that learning can be fun. I provide individualized support in reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and social-emotional learning (SEL), tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every student. My goal is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to ask questions, build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and celebrate their progress. Whether your child needs academic support, homework help, or extra practice with organization, self-regulation, or social skills, I strive to make learning engaging and meaningful. I am available for after-school tutoring and some weekends.
