About Karen

Nurturing young minds and making a positive impact on children's lives has been my professional focus for 25 years. As a certified teacher with a Masters degree in special education, I bring a blend of creative energy and high academic expectations to my childcare practice. I am equally comfortable caring for up to two children across all age groups, from infants to pre-teens. My approach includes engaging kids through outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities that make learning fun. I am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and creative crafts. I maintain open communication through your preferred method, whether by text or phone call. I hold CPR training and First Aid certifications. I am very comfortable enforcing your established household rules to ensure consistency. I look forward to bringing my experience into your home and becoming a trusted partner in your child's growth.
