About Karen

Karen started 7 years ago, taking my mother in law to do errands and to doctor appointments. Over the years, as MIL’s mental acuity declined, Karen took over grocery shopping, and did more frequent visits. She acted as a resource for normal living situations which were no longer in MIL’s capability, for example, Karen helped handle communication with repair service when there were furnace issues, she bought a new vacuum when needed etc. She was cheerful and supportive when MIL’ s Alzheimer’s made her become testy or confused at times. Karen’s knowledge and experience allowed us to feel comfortable in allowing MIL to stay living at home for as long as possible. We could not have asked for a more helpful person to assist in my MIL’s support. I am happy to recommend her to anyone looking for assistance for a senior.
