About Kara

Having left my career with a B. S. and M. S. in Biochemistry, I now work with kids with special needs and love what I do. I have volunteered with all age groups throughout my life and love the human experience. Bonus, I also was a vet assistant and am great with animals :) I'm looking for a job that benefits my community and fits around my regular school schedule (M-F, 7:45am-3:45pm). My personality is open-minded, courageous, and uplifting. I started tutoring when I was 18 and have continued for over 10 years. I like uncovering skills people don't know they have. My specialties: Chemistry (all) Biology (all) Biochemistry (all) Math (all) Spanish (1-3) In my spare time, I like to hike, bike, run, ski, eat food, and lay outside. I am flexible outside of school hours, especially around holidays when students are on break.
