About Kara

Hi! I'm Kara, a graduate student at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry with a passion for helping students build confidence in science. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with highest honors and have been studying advanced science courses since high school. Throughout college, I tutored students in upper-level chemistry, biology, and health science courses, helping them master challenging concepts and prepare for exams. I also received academic awards in both general and organic chemistry. As I work toward my DDS, I continue to strengthen my knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and the human sciences. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized, and I enjoy adapting lessons to each student's learning style.
