About Alex

Empowering students to reach their full potential through critical thinking and genuine curiosity is at the heart of my teaching practice. With two years of experience, I specialize in helping elementary and middle school students master subjects ranging from Math and Science to English and Study Skills. I prioritize building confidence over rote memorization, often connecting complex concepts to real-world examples to spark engagement. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods--whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions--to suit your unique learning style. I believe clear communication with families is essential to tracking progress and setting goals. Nothing beats the reward of witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you grow, succeed, and discover a lasting love for learning.
