About Kamilah

Hi, families! My name is Kamilah, and I'm currently earning my Master's in School Psychology at California State University, East Bay. I'm looking for a summer childcare position where I can return to my passion for working one-on-one with children! I hold a B. A. in Psychology from UC Berkeley, where I emphasized developmental and clinical psychology. Over the years, I've provided in-home care for infants through middle schoolers. I also worked professionally as a Registered Behavior Technician, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in both school and home settings. In my current role as a counselor trainee, I provide direct support to children managing challenges like anxiety, executive dysfunction, and emotional regulation. I'm excited to bring my warmth, creativity, and knowledge of child development into a role where I can support your family and provide a safe, joyful space for your child. Let's connect!
