About Kaliyah

I'm KP, a UST student double majoring in social work and criminal justice with strong hands-on childcare experience. I currently work as a Backup Care Provider supporting families with flexible, reliable care. My background includes working as a nanny, assisting with a middle school after-school program through Saint Paul Public Schools, and supporting early childhood learning at the Salvation Army Child Development Center and the YMCA. I've mentored youth through Big Brother Big Sister, supported programming at the Boys and Girls Club of Mt. Airy, and participated in the Saint Paul Police Explorers Summer Academy building strong skills in supervision, engagement, and safety. I am patient, dependable, and committed to creating structured, nurturing, and positive environments where children feel respected, supported, and encouraged to grow.
