About Jake

Hi! My name is Jake S and I'm a Tulane University graduate with a degree in Neuroscience and was recently accepted to medical school, which I'll begin next year. I currently work part-time for a sports medicine surgeon at Twin Cities Orthopedics. I grew up with three brothers and have always loved working with children. I coached youth soccer and tutored/mentored students throughout high school. I still play hockey and soccer, enjoy all sports, and love being active with kids through games, outdoor activities, and practices. I'm also a confident cook who enjoys preparing healthy meals, grocery shopping, and meal prepping. I've always had dogs, including my 16-year-old black Lab, Maude, and I love all animals. I'm outgoing, responsible, very social, and dependable, and I enjoy encouraging kids as students, athletes, and growing individuals. I'm hoping to become a trusted, positive part of a family's routine while helping with childcare, cooking, activities, and organization.
