About Kalei

Hi! My name is Kalei, and I am 21 years old and in my senior year of college as an elementary education major. I absolutely love kids and have a passion for teaching and helping them grow! I have been nannying for over four years and now have over a year of private tutoring experience as well! I specialize in teaching elementary aged students, Pre-k through 6th grade, on specific grade-level skills. I am specifically certified in teaching children to read and develop English language skills. I also can tutor in math, science, social studies, or most any other typical elementary school subject. I like to apply my knowledge and experience as an elementary school teacher in academic instruction while still personalizing how I teach who your child is and what they need. I tend to use a casual, fun demeanor in teaching and sometimes use play-based techniques to keep them engaged.
