Hi I'm Kaitlyn, and I enjoy watching children of all ages (especially little ones and newborns). I also enjoy running, playing soccer, reading, crafts, and being outside. I'm a mother of two (a boy and a girl) and have recently supported my husband through grad school. I have had piano lessons growing up, and I value the importance of music in the home. Aside from some time spent serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and studying elementary education at Brigham Young University, I have cared for children since I was 11 years old. I have had a few nanny and babysitting jobs here in Utah county and also in Indiana. I work well with smaller children and have a lot of experience with toddlers, though I enjoy caring for older children as well. A couple of my jobs in the past have been caring for newborns for over a year. I taught third grade for a full year, and I am willing to help tutor your children. I am also willing to do light housekeeping with the job.

Kaitlyn cared for my kids like her own and I’m fortunate to still be in contact with her now! She is a calming presence always but most importantly during my kids “big feelings” moments. Kaitlyn is creative and fully engaged with my kids. I never liked leaving my kids to go to work so to know that I had Kaitlyn to be there for them, care for them and keep them safe and happy was such a relief. She is flexible and was able to accommodate some of my more specific requests. My kids were always her priority and that was evident in how she talked about them and the different activities they did. I’d remiss if I didn’t mention how kind she is. I can’t speak highly enough of Kaitlyn. My kids were 4 and 6 months when she watched them and she watched them for about 2 years.
