About Kaitlyn

Learning isn't one-size-fits-all, and I'm passionate about helping students unlock their unique potential. With a college degree and two years of experience, I tutor Math, Science, and Study Skills for elementary through high school students. I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments, empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I vary my teaching strategies, using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Open communication is key, so I encourage students to share what works best for them. I also provide regular updates to parents, fostering a collaborative environment. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples keeps students motivated, and I celebrate every success! Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have CPR training and First Aid certifications. I'd love to use my skills to help your student succeed!
