About Kaitlyn

Hello! I am 26 old and have both experience and education working with children and adolescents 1-19. I have some education from my associates for transfer in early childhood education and BA Psychology with a minor in child development. I worked for 1 1/2 years at a private preschool called kiddie academy in the LA area and then worked in the Pasadena and Arcadia school districts as a special ed/classroom aide. At my most current job I worked as a residential child counselor where I helped promote life skills, helped clients with independence and autonomy, and used trauma informed skills to assist clients in any crisis or issue they were experiencing. I also worked with clients who were foster youth transitioning into adulthood. Just recently, I also got hired as a Family advocate. I like working with kids and adolescents because I like being able to help guide them in life and see them grow.
