About Kailey

I am a second grade teacher that loves school and believes learning is a year round experience! The summer is a wonderful time to tackle new learning challenges as well as to really master the previous grades standards. My goal is to help every kiddo I work with flourish and to truly develop a love of learning. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, positive, and determined. I like tutoring because it is taking material I normally work with during the school year and breaking it down into more manageable chunks in which kiddos can really take their time to comprehend and develop a deeper knowledge of it. I also enjoy the flexibility in tutoring, providing instruction in the best way that works for each student. I'm looking for any elementary grade level tutoring position in the summer that, if desired, could continue into the school year. In my spare time, I like to read, hike, and spend time with family!
