About Kailey

I am a graduate student at UofM, doing cancer research, and teaching chemistry courses. I have 7+years of experience in nannying and 3+ years experience in life guarding, swim instructing and tutoring. I love helping children develop academically, emotionally and socially, but most of all in their confidence in themselves. One of my biggest skills in childcare is my ability to resolve conflict between siblings. I typically work with families that have multiple children and understand how difficult managing sibling dynamics can be. I try to teach children skills to enjoy and communicate with one another, along with resolve conflict. Along with this, I am very diligent with safety, having years of experience as a lifeguard and nanny. Lastly, I love to have fun. Although "traditional" fun is great, my skill is to make boring activities seem fun. Whether going to the grocery store, cleaning the house, or even picking up dog poop in the yard , I love to make monotonous things interesting.
