About Kaelyn

Hi there, my name is Kaelyn! I am almost 25 & have been babysitting/nannying on & off since I was 13. I just moved to Santa Cruz from Ojai CA for a new career path with my partner. I am hopefully going back to school next year to receive my masters/credential to teach elementary school, which has been a passion of mine since I was young. I feel drawn to this position because children are our future & we have so much to learn from their unique perspectives. My mom is a teacher & I have been helping out in her classrooms for a while, so I have been around children from kindergarten to middle school. When nannying, I enjoy creating a safe & fun space for children to be expressive, learn new things, get outside, do their homework (if any), share their ideas, & to simply be a kid!
