About Claire

My name is Claire P., and I am a fourth year student at UCSC studying sociology and Spanish. I have been working with kids of all ages for a very long time. I spent all of my summers in high school working at a summer camp, I gained experience working with kids of all ages, from 5-year-olds to 11-year-olds. Throughout college I have been babysitting and nannying, I worked with 4 kids and planned fun "camp like" activities everyday and gave them the best summer possible considering the restrictions of COVID19. I also gained experience in online learning, helping a 1st grader and 4th grader with their online schoolwork for the whole 2021 school year, helping with almost all subjects as well as planning safe and fun after school activities. I am currently working at a preschool as a teachers assistant, helping with activities such as circle time, counting, practicing the alphabet, etc. At the preschool I work with children 6 months- 4 years old, I am learning new childcare skills everyday
