Available Mondays. CPR certified. Has own transportation. My name is Justine and I have a passion for working with children; watching how their unique differences influence their own growth and development. I have a BA in Child Development and Masters in Child Life. I am a Child Life Specialist at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. This has granted me an advanced understanding of developmental theory and ability to recognizes necessity of creating an inclusive and diverse atmosphere. I have 9 years of experience focused on creating developmentally supportive environments to empower a child's belief in their ability to explore and succeed. My experience encompasses Primary and Substitute teacher for ages 6m - 2 years, Substitute teacher for ages 2 - 5 years, and a summer camp instructor for children 5 - 12 years. I have worked with children both typically and non-typically developing with the goal of applying family-centered care techniques throughout my practices.
