About Julie

I have over 25 years of childcare experience, caring for children of all ages-including infants, multiples, and children with disabilities. I hold an AA in Child Development and an AA as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. I've worked in elementary schools for several years, served as a YMCA after-school counselor, and spent the past six years as both a part-time and full-time nanny. In addition to childcare, I've been a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for 13 years in both school settings and private practice, giving me extensive experience supporting children's communication, developmental needs, and diverse abilities. I genuinely love working with kids and enjoy staying active with them, encouraging imagination, creativity, and meaningful play.

Julie has worked with us for about 2 years now. She is always available when we have needed her, and is always on time. She is so involved with our kids and always has some type of art project or dress up planned for every stay. My girls love her so much that they get excited when I tell them she is coming to watch them. She is also amazing with our baby. She has watched him since birth (he is now 16 months) and we wouldn't trust anyone else with him. We are sad we can't continue working with her as often since we moved out of the area but we definitely would recommend her if you are looking for someone reliable, long term, involved, and responsible.
