About Justin

Hello! My name is Justin and I am currently a preschool teacher looking for a second source of income to be able to travel the world! I have a servsafe food handlers certificate. I value inclusivity and diversity. I'd describe my personality as Calm, Supportive and positive. I like working with kids because they are the future, and being able to help them navigate the world and their identity in the world is a precious reward itself. I started working with kids when I changed my major from Interior Design to Early childhood education in the fall of 2023. One thing you should know about me is that my motto is "It'll be fine or it'll be a good story". This saying reminds myself and those around me that our obstacles may seem overwhelming but it can be handled and may even be funny to look back on. My skills include creating activities for children, helping children identify their emotions and how to handle them and I have many resources to help redirect challenging behaviors.
