Special Needs Caregiver. I recently graduated with honors from SUNY New Paltz with a BA in Psychology. I am currently enrolled in Graduate School at Mercy College for Occupational Therapy. A program dedicated to learning various techniques geared directly towards the aid of those with special needs. I am also a certified Yoga instructor, and currently teaching. I am hoping to bring some love and light, and make a difference in the lives of others. I have worked as a nanny for the past three years with children from ages 3-8. I also have experience working with developmental disabilities adults; using techniques such as art therapy and chair yoga. My responsibilities included planning daily actives, helping the staff with outings, feeding the patients who needed assistance, cooking, cleaning, and participating in activities.
