About Julie

Hello, I am a 43-year-old mother to an amazing 12-year-old boy. To describe myself, I am patient, empathetic, and confident. Building trust is very important to me. I have a passion helping others because my experiences with caregiving resonate close to my heart. My father, tragically had an accident, and was left a quadriplegic for three years before he passed away. During this time, I learned many skills such as lifting/transferring from bed to wheelchair, bathing/personal care, wound management, feeding/meal preparation, medication management, as well as much more. Afterwards, my mother developed cancer and was bedbound. I drove her to daily appointments and patiently cared for her while she battled through her treatment. I understand what it's like to be in the position of finding the right caregiver for the person you love most in the world. I will show the same level of compassion to you or your loved one as I did with my parents, if you choose to hire me.
