About Julie

Julie was an exceptional caregiver who provided 24/7 care for our mother, who was living with advanced-stage ALS. Before joining our family. Julie was referred by her daughter who was a new caregiver on our team that was doing exceptionally well. Julie noted she was a CNA early in her career path but migrated to hospital administration. After caring for an elderly family member, she wished to reengage in senior caregiving. She was in the process of renewing her CAN license while working with us. From the start, Julie was eager to learn, asked insightful questions, made notes and spreadsheets to help her learning and absorbed information quickly. Our mother’s care was highly regimented and complex, involving feeding tube management, cough assist, suction, BiPap, Hoyer lift transfers, medication administration, and detailed personal care. Julie excelled in all areas — she was dependable, a clear communicator, compassionate, and attentive to both the patient’s physical and emotional needs. Julie took the time to truly get to know our mother as a person, not just as a patient. Her empathy and calm presence made an enormous difference in the quality of care and comfort our mother received.
