I'm a little bit nervous to write this review: any family who work with Julie would want to keep her for as long as possible (what would we do then?). Julie was great with our baby Z (around 3months during the care period). Julie is knowledgeable with developmental needs of infants and found ways to include what Z needed in a day besides food/sleep/diapers (playing with hands/fingers, sensory development with different textures, etc). When baby slept, she was quick to offer help with other housekeeping tasks and didn't shy away from unsavory chores (taking out a bag of garbage, putting in a load of dirty cloth diapers). Once during her visit I accidentally cut one of our cats while trimming his fur, which sent me into a mild panic. Julie was right there to help calm my post-baby mom nerves/hormones and helped treat our sweet cat to make sure he was ok, too. Bonus is that I also enjoyed Julie's company in our time together and we got along splendidly! She is a gem.
