About Julie

I'd describe my personality as creative, caring, and competent. I like tutoring because I love building up a student's confidence and watching them succeed. I'm looking for a job that is 1-3 days a week helping children with reading, writing, and math. I am also ESL certified and would love to help a child or adult with their English language skills. I started tutoring when I became an Elementary school teacher about 30 years ago. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband, 2 sons ( 19 yrs& 16 yrs), family and friends. I also love to craft! One thing you should know about me is I am very positive and caring with a lot of behavioral tricks up my sleeve to make learning fun. My skills include teaching the writing process, reading comprehension, and context clues.
