I'm a compassionate, experienced, professional caregiver, CNA, HHA & proud Mom of two grown girls & an adorable Cockapoo. My personal special care experience is with my daughter who has faced major physical challenges due to an autoimmune disorder. My professional experience began with teaching HS Biology & Physics in an integrated classroom & later providing home-tutoring for students on a long-term leave of absence due to various health challenges. For the past 10 years, I have provided in-home special care for individuals. My personal & professional experience has fostered my knowledge & understanding of various conditions including Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, Cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS, Cerebellar Ataxia, Macular Degeneration, Paraplegia, Hemiplegia, & Hemiparesis. My approach will always include fostering dignity, prioritizing safety & comfort, & promoting effective communication between the Healthcare Team, the individual, & their families.
