About Julie

Hello! I am a mother of a 20-year-old son with autism who I raised on my own. I was a foster mother for 10 years and have cared for children for many years. I have participated in many therapies and worked with children of all backgrounds and abilities. I believe I have more energy than most, I am outgoing but also easy going, patient, honest and very dependable and am big on reaching milestone. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping kids busy. I like to spend our time exploring new playgrounds, l and nature but I most love curling up with a good book or game. I was a stay at home mom and enjoyed every minute of it, and would treat your child as I would my own! I believe in comforting children when needed and showing lots of love, respect and smiles. What children believe about themselves is at the heart of what they become." I am CPR and first aid certified and am a registered DSP with the state of Illinois.
