About Sharon

I am a 'young at heart' 63-year-old mother of three grown children and an ecstatic Grammy of a 3-year-old boy! Family is important to me. I have always loved kids and got a lot of practice being around many as I am one of 10! I have a degree in Criminal Justice although I've worked in education most of my life starting out as a pre school teacher and then becoming a teacher assistant in an elementary school K-5, with an emphasis in special education for the last 20 years plus. I am outgoing, loving, caring and compassionate. I'd like to think that I've made a difference in the students' lives that I worked with, be it emotionally, behaviorally and academically. I enjoy spending time with my grandson and family, going on walks and bike rides with my husband and nurturing my friendships. I'm looking for a family who needs part time care only so I still have time for my own family and things that are important to me.
