I have worked at High School in the class as a mentor, almost every day of my Junior and Senior year of high school. It was my favorite class. I would help with different subjects in school and be there for the students to look up to and go for help. I am going to school to eventually be an Occupational Therapy Assistant and work with special needs. I wanted to work in Special Education but didn't want to be a lead teacher so I looked into something else I could work with people who have special needs. My younger cousin also has Down syndrome and I have a lot of experience caring and being with him.
