Hi My name is Julie. I have my BSN and currently working towards my MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I gained a strong base of pediatric knowledge by working in a pediatrician's office right out of undergraduate school. I worked as a school nurse in which I provided care to student's with life threatening food allergies, asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, cancer, obesity, behavioral and sensory issues, congenital cardiac abnormalities, as well as many other health and medical needs. I was also a private duty nurse to a toddler with numerous cardiac abnormalities. For the past 8 years, I have volunteered at a special needs camp (1 week in August), in which I have cared for campers with spina bifida, CP, seizure disorders, down syndrome, autism, any many more.
