I am very interested in this line of work as I enjoy being a caregiver. The elderly being my choice, as I feel a certain obligation to them. I have taken care of two grandparents with cancer, two mentally disabled ladies and two invalid women with dementia. I was a live-in for an elderly couple with dementia and paranoid schizophrenia. It was very challenging. I have planned, shopped for, and prepared meals, housekeeping, laundry, personal care/bathing, lifted, medication disbursement, errands, scheduled doctors' appointments, transportation, maintained household and payment dispersal. Recent assignment care of couple, both with dementia, both have graduated to an assisted living facility. Most recent ended Nov. 9, 2019, client passed. I was a part-time live-in, later she was moved into assist-living, I went with her. I am also a mother of two sons and grandmother to three grandchildren. I am compassionate, honest, dependable, a hard worker and I love what I do.

She has an easy-going and lighthearted personality that is so necessary when caring for another person day in and day out. Julie is always by mom's side when needed while at the same time, knows when to encourage her to work through a challenging task. She's a great caregiver and I would not hesitate to leave a loved one in her care.
