I'm a retired psychologist. I cared for my husband the last 4 years of his life after a stroke & Alzheimer's. No smoke/drink. Seeking a live-in caregiver job. I'd describe my personality as Gentle, Communicate well, a Patient person. I like caring for seniors because it is meaningful to help them in the last stages of their life. I'm looking for a job that has regular hours, a live-in situation, to be helpful. I started caring for seniors in 1974, my Grandfather with Alzheimer's, helped several others with Alzheimer's next 5 years. I became a psychologist. Took care of my husband in 2019. He had a stroke & Alzheimer's. He passed in 2023. Moved to Oregon from Rhode Island in 2025. In my spare time, I like to read, organize, travel, walk, paint, visit friends, and meditate. One thing you should know about me is I am extremely trustworthy and I follow through. My skills include keeping the patient clean, keeping them active or rested, keeping them content, fed, and happy.
