About Josue

Hello! My name is Josue. I am 28 years old. I am originally from Michigan but moved to Portland in 2023. I currently work full-time for a nonprofit, but I'm hoping to spend some of my mornings being a companion. I worked at a in-home senior care unit in 2019. I cared for two older men one with Alzheimer's. I cooked for them, cleaned after them, shopped and helped them with their medications. I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, open, curious. I like caring for seniors because some of my greatest memories were when I was a kid sitting around the breakfast table with my dad and uncles, listening to them talk about their experiences in life and their families. I'm looking for a job that is more companion/errand, transportation oriented, that is in the mornings or the weekends. In my spare time, I like to climb, run, coach, cook, and spend my time in any way being outside. One thing you should know about me is i'm pretty easy-going.
