About Julianne

Through my past teaching experience, I have learned to diversify and adapt to various challenges and student populations. I have worked closely with both identified Gifted, talented, ELL, and Special Education students, oftentimes in the same classroom simultaneously. I have taught various extra-curricular activities based in hands-on learning and STEM. I have volunteered at various events throughout my career in order to best serve Arizona's future population of adults including serving on a curriculum planning team for Higley Unified School District. I have had volunteer and/or career experience in Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, and Higley Unified School Districts and plan to continue as a life-long learner to increase my effectiveness in the classroom. I have a particular love and appreciate working in Title 1 schools. I have worked with several different curriculums, including Journey's, Lucy Calkins, Spalding, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Scholastic Reading, and Engage NY.
