About Falon

Hi! I'm Falon, an educator with 21 years of teaching experience, a BFA in Dance Education, and an MFA in Dance, Performance and Choreography. My background includes teaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, and extensive knowledge of human development, psychology, and learning. My teaching philosophy centers on personalized instruction, confidence-building, and creative problem-solving. I incorporate visualization, critical thinking, and evidence-informed learning strategies to help students develop skills that extend beyond the classroom. I believe mistakes are valuable opportunities for growth! I create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring challenges, and discovering their unique strengths. With experience supporting diverse learners, including neurodivergent students, my goal is to help each student develop independence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning!
