About Julia

I raised and homeschooled four children who are now 18-25, including a set of fraternal twins. I have also spent the last 5 years teaching at a classical Christian school, starting with middle and high school and then transitioning to 2nd grade. I love to encourage children of all ages to learn through play, reading, and planned activities. I double majored in psychology and social work after switching my major from nursing. In my spare time, I like to hike, read, sing, visit art museums, cook Mediterranean dishes, and go on adventures. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, cheerful, and fun. I like working with kids because I love their natural curiosity that helps them learn so much when they are young.
