About Laura

I am an experienced parent and teacher who enjoys being active, spending time outdoors, and expressing creativity. I am seeking a summer nanny position to provide structure and adventure to my summer days away from the classroom. I like working with kids because I appreciate helping children nurture their sense of curiosity about the world around them. I started working with kids when I was an Americorps service member in under graduate school. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, bake, garden, hike, kayak, practice yoga, run, and spend time with my family (including my big, red dog). My skills include patience, perspective, appreciation for and awareness of child development.
