About Julia

I foster an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment. I vary my teaching strategies using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. I also encourage open communication to discover what methods work best. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate small successes, and provide consistent positive reinforcement. My goal is to see your student's confidence grow as they master new skills. I hold a high school degree and can help with English, Science, Test Preparation, and Art. I graduated with a GPA of 3. 6, and was in the visual arts program at my high school. I took college-level courses in English, Government, Sociology, and Psychology. I am comfortable tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students online or in person. I am also comfortable with pets, and I would love to help your student succeed!
