About Julia

Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a recent college grad with a degree in Biochemistry. I'm currently in my gap year before Dental School and looking to help out some families! I have lots of caretaking experience with seniors and individuals with special needs, particularly those with intellectual and developmental disabilities through my work with the Mental Health Association. I've spent almost three years working in group homes for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and have been through training to handle complex physical and emotional behaviors from the clients. A staple of this position was also meal prep with very strict guidelines, and my residents were always happy to see that I was the one cooking that day. Daily chores were an expectation, and you can expect the same! If you're looking for someone who can accommodate to your family, while also being a responsibly fun and engaging presence, that's me!
